Weighing Assemblies
Thames Side offers an extensive line of weighing assemblies (also called weigh modules or mechanical accessories) and hardware designed to ensure optimum load cell performance in process weighing, batching and gravimetric level measurement applications.
Load Cells
Thames Side’s range of load cells are very accurate and durable, constructed to last. We strive to offer high quality products and outstanding customer service.
Many of our load cells carry recognised weights and measures approval from OIML, or NTEP, or both.
We can supply technical drawings and 3D CAD files (e.g. in STEP format) to engineers who are specifying load cells for new equipment and we can supply installation drawings/technical manuals for site engineers responsible for system installation.
Load Pins
Strain gauged load pins can easily replace an existing clevis, pivot pin or solid shafts in machinery or equipment to measure the load at that point.
They are used in many diverse applications including cranes, winches, agricultural equipment (such as tractors), fishing, marine, offshore, subsea, aerospace, process industries, mining, hoisting gear, elevators and floor conveyors, cable laying machinery and many others. The load information provided by the pin can be used for process control, weight/force measurement, overload protection and safety related aspects.
Silo/Tank/Hopper Weighing
Over the last 35+ years, Thames Side has specifically developed a range of OIML and NTEP approved load cells and weighing assemblies for accurate measurement during storage, loading or unloading of bulk solids and liquids.
